Do not let this article appear as an over simplification of the obvious. “Help” is like creation itself. It can manifest in ways we cannot comprehend and at the most unexpected of times, yet its impact on our circumstance is always positive and ever-present. To understand the simplicity of it is to understand life itself. Failure to grasp its importance is like standing on the rim of the Grand Canyon and asking, “where is the hole?”
The unconstitutional “laws” issued by the government, which caused me to stay in my home in response to the Corona-virus, brought upon me a funk; Despair had descended upon my thinking. I was mad. My anger burned at the government because tyranny has raised its ugly head. I am enraged at my leaders, my representatives, bureaucrats, corporate administrators and CEOs, academia, scientist, and the so-called health officials, and the accursed mainstream media (the press) that have no right to tell me how to live my life. They violate the Constitution. My freedom and liberty are taken away, and they love it so. They have discovered a new power. They are intoxicated by it. I am censored by those who do not have the authority to censor me, yet I am censored. I am unconstitutionally confined by those who do not have the right to confine me. Yet I am confined until they say I can return to normalcy. In this game, the rules are constantly changing, and there are no goal post.
If The Constitution is ignored, (and it is), where do we go from here?
Now we know, the “experts” got it wrong time after time. Wear a mask, or don’t wear a mask. Shut everything down, don’t shut everything down. “Social distancing” is the answer, or not. “Herd immunity” is the answer, or not—confusion and disinformation reign supreme. Truth is flung to the ground. If I can’t believe the information put out by the WHO, CDC, government or the press, who am I to believe? How am I going to handle this chaos? The world is put to ruin by their “wisdom.” The truth is my future, and my children’s future has been seriously jeopardized.
Their solution under the guise of “saving lives.” is spending trillions upon trillions of dollars, running up the debt coupled with the constraint on liberty. What a farce! The hypocrisy at all levels defies understanding. Not only is it preposterous, but there are no words to describe the extent of it. The absurdity is mind-boggling. Saving lives is only a ruse; the true prize for them is unrestricted dictatorial power.
I already know where all this is leading, that is the subject of my book. However, it will have to wait until it is published.
The point is this; in the midst of all this chaos, I kept asking myself, what am I going to do, how am I supposed to respond to this change that has descended upon America and the world? I’m just one of the masses. I have no power. My hope was in the Constitution; however, it is being ignored by them. Besides the pandemic, there is also Obama-gate. There is overwhelming evidence of guilt on the part of many, yet the guilty are not held accountable, and it doesn’t appear as if things are going to get better. The tears of justice pour down like rain.
Like a mouse trained to run in a maze, I searched for the right path. My spirit cried out to God, “How long O Lord are we to endure this unrighteousness?” Then God gave me insight-with-understanding and made me realize that the answer lies with Him. He called, but they would not listen, now when they call, He will not listen. Yet for those who put their trust in Him, He has promised that He is a very present help in the time of trouble.
O Lord burn it into my brain. Fasten it to my soul. Stamp it on my heart: “Blessed is the man whose help is the Lord.”
The answer is to seek help from God, and then when you receive it you can become a help not only to yourself but to others. Wrap your arms around the word. Embrace it and fully understand what it means to help. Help is to life as necessary as air is to breathing. Like air, however, help is often taken for granted. But woe unto us if we live life without it.
Help, what is it? By definition, it is making things easier by offering assistance or a service. The word “help” appears in the Bible 132 times contained in 139 verses. It is a very important concept that God wants, NO, He requires us to understand. Help is far more precious than silver or gold, yet “help” is free for the asking. How great is that?
“Help” is the sublime exaltation of love.
To help has very practical ramifications. But first, learn to help yourself so you can then help others. An overly contrived example might be, if you are a teenager, and your mother is irate at you and yells at you constantly because your rooms is a mess and you are stressed out by the constant conflict and want it to stop, you can ask yourself: “how can I “help” this situation and make my mother not be mad at me for living in a messy room?” The “help” answer is you kill two birds with one stone, so to speak, by cleaning up your room. Both she and you will be happier. You will have given her assistance by offering your service, which will reduce her workload, and you won’t smell like a creep when you meet your friends in your room. Plus, she will no longer have a reason for yelling at you and might even make you a pie to show her appreciation.
Any man (or woman) bound by circumstance requiring “help” has but to simply ask for it, and by receiving it, their life can change forever.
Life is not simple anymore. It never has been actually, only now we have more contraptions to deal with. Job 5:7 For man is born for trouble, as sparks fly upward. Need I remind anyone, the world is in trouble? We need help now more than ever and a lot of it.
People have lost their jobs, their homes, their businesses, and for many hope itself. We have trouble in abundance. Yet, in spite of all this chaos, there is help. Listen to what David said about God in a time of trouble: Ps 46:1 God is our refuge and strength, A very present help in trouble. Then David quotes Samuel and says 2nd Samuel 22: 7 In my distress I called upon the Lord, Yes, I cried to my God; And from His temple, He heard my voice, And my cry for help came into His ears. “Help” is but a prayer away.
Ps 72:12 For he will deliver the needy when he cries for help, the afflicted also, and him who has no helper.
You (the reader) can change your circumstance by simply asking yourself, “what can I do to help?” If your answer is “I don’t know.” Then humble yourself and ask God for help. Do I need to repeat Psalm 72:12? Be warned, however, if you pray for His help and go through the motions and then refuse to believe He will send it, then He will not. You must ask in faith.
Heb 11:1 NOW faith is the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen. Without faith, it is impossible to please Him, the bible says.
We are living in perilous times. For many, the circumstances are dire. The way out may look impossible, yet understand this: God, the Creator of all, has seen the end from the beginning, and He has seen your life. He will help you if you will but trust Him. Remember, “help” is ever-present. “Help” is just waiting for you to ask for it.
The solution is simple and straightforward: ask God for help when you need it and then be a help to others when they need it. It’s as simple as that.
